Community Participation

Community Participation

Individuals with a disability usually find it challenging to interact and engage in activities in a social setting. At LivEasy Care, we understand how much community participation can change a person’s well-being and we constantly work towards establishing an environment that engages people and encourages them to interact more freely. We can help you to access and engage with your community, whether you want to further your goals and interests, work, study or simply socialise. Our trusted team of support workers will transport and accompany you while you are out.

What sort of activities can you do?

Assistance with Social and Community Participation covers range of activities. This is a great opportunity as you get a lot of freedom over your supports. Here are just some ideas for what’s possible:

Attending a personal development class

Becoming a member of a social group you are interested in

Embracing your inner artist with painting or pottery classes

Visiting your favourite local library

Taking in some fresh country air at a camp with fellow peers

Frying up a feast with friends at cooking classes

Going to your favourite movies or concerts

Join a reading club
